Last-mile delivery is an essential sector for electrification, with the transportation of goods from factories to shops or doorsteps accounting for a significant portion of global greenhouse gas emissions.

We delivered this project in partnership with PowerON Energy Solutions for a commercial trailer solutions provider. The charging infrastructure was designed to support the expansion of a network of rental vehicles, including new electric step vans. Step vans are a critical part of “last-mile delivery” logistics, and the efficient installation of the fast, reliable charging needed to electrify this fleet means reduced carbon emissions for more packages on their way to your doorstep.

Our team installed EV charging infrastructure for this fleet, incorporating dynamic load-sharing technology. This system allows electrical power to be distributed depending on the vehicles’ charge level and how many vehicles are charging. The ability to operate with dynamic load-sharing technology helps fleet owners automatically optimize power usage, as well as charge levels, across their fleet.
